Gillingham signed two players on transfer deadline day. Aiden O'Brien joined from Shrewsbury Town on loan. Tristan Abrahams also joined on loan from Eastleigh.

O'Brien played under Harris at Millwall. He scored 34 goals in 188 league games for Millwall. O'Brien also played for Sunderland, scoring 11 goals in the 2021/22 season.
