Gillingham have secured their first win at Barrow since 1967 with a 1-0 victory in League Two. Robbie McKenzie scored in the 13th minute of second-half stoppage-time to seal the win. The goal came following a last-gasp Lenni Cirino corner, ending a run of three-successive defeats for the Gills and deepening Barrow's relegation woes. For the Cumbrians, it was a third-successive defeat for new boss Dino Maamria, with the Bluebirds remaining third-bottom, out of the relegation zone only on goal difference. The lengthy added time was largely due to a second-half injury to home striker Jovan Malcolm. Play was halted for eight minutes while Malcolm received treatment for a leg injury after a tackle by substitute Ethan Coleman.
